Station Playback & Streaming

How do I start or pause a radio station?

Click the prominent Play/Pause button on the center stereo console or press the Spacebar on your keyboard. Live streams require an active internet connection. On mobile browsers, audio must be initiated by tapping play.

Can I keep listening if I navigate to other pages?

Yes! A sticky mini-player bar automatically appears at the bottom of blog articles, station guides, and information pages. It maintains playback so you never lose the music while reading. You can also click "Cockpit" on the mini-player at any time to return to the jeepney dashboard.

How do I find and change stations?

Open the Stations Drawer to search and filter community-listed Philippine FM, AM, and online streams. Search by call letters, frequency (e.g., "97.1"), genre, location, or tag. You can also filter by FM, AM, Online, Budots, or Favorites.

Why does a station fail to play or show an error?

Radio streams are provided by individual broadcasters and servers. Occasional downtime, geographic licensing restrictions, or server maintenance can cause a temporary interruption. If a stream fails, click Retry or select another station from the catalog.

Can I save favorite stations?

Yes! Click the heart icon beside any station in the drawer or stereo unit to add or remove it from your Favorites tab. Your favorites are stored locally in your browser's local storage.

Audio Settings & Equalizer (DSP)

What does Sub-Bass boost do?

Sub-Bass toggles a dedicated low-shelf biquad audio filter designed to recreate the thumping under-seat subwoofers of authentic Philippine jeepneys. You can toggle it by clicking the Sub-Bass button or tapping the dashboard speaker cone.

How do DSP presets work?

Click the DSP button to open our high-tech audio equalizer. You can adjust low, mid, and treble sliders or choose tuned sound profiles:

  • Jeepney Tugstugan: Deep bass punch with crisp highs.
  • Budots: High-energy electronic dance beat enhancement.
  • OPM Classic: Vocal warmth and acoustic presence.
  • Rock: Mid-range crunch for electric guitar riffs.
  • Flat: Natural, uncolored broadcast monitoring.

Can I move the dog bobblehead, soft drink, or GPS?

Yes! You can click and drag the dog bobblehead, soft drink bottle, and GPS unit anywhere across the cockpit. Your custom layout is automatically saved on your device.

How do I honk the jeepney horn?

Click the horn button in the center of the steering wheel, or press H on your keyboard!
